Breathe Carolina and Lookas is coming here with him. I'm quite excited as well. I already saw him at EDCO, and his set killed! I'm hoping that Porter tours again. I'm quite sad I missed the Porteon tour.

W&W are going back to trance with their new side project! Ultra Miami should be an interesting one this year.

@Mali Yes mate, there's been loads. I usually fuck with tracks instead of full releases but I know I've come across many quality releases in recent years. Check out Omar-S - The Best.

someone sell me on venetian snares. as far im concerned his stuffs all pretension wrapped in "muh needlessly complicated use of drums". i feel this way about breakcore in general but venetian snares is just the biggest example :catdankv4:

not what I usually listen to, but I'm captivated by it. very smooth and surreal sounding.

new burial (https://burial.bandcamp.com/album/subtemple) out on pre-order.

an urban soundscape in every sense. what appears to be bike locks and chains being tinkered with, leaves rustling, sniffling and what sounds like a front garden gate closing/opening. this will go down well with listeners that are more into ambient (and to an extent, drone) because of how minimal burials approach comes across.

You like it or you don't.

You can always try his My Downfall soundtrack where he tones it down a bit--if you like that you can also try Rossz Csillag Alatt Sz├╝letett but that's still fairly intense with his jungle/breakcore stuff underneath. It's meant to be spastic and abrasive.

It's kind of like Autechre where it's not super accommodating music but is still great.
